First of all check the status of VLC media player if it updated so you can record your PC desktop screen easily
After update this software open this
Click on Media in the menu bar
Open capture devices
Select your desired frame rate best is 15
Click Convert / Save at the bottom.
Click Browse to select a filename and save location
Now starting your recording
When you stop your recording close the VLC media player
Your recording is atomic save where you give the location
